SCHOLARSHIPS

Private school scholarships make quality education more accessible by offering financial assistance to families who may need help with tuition costs.

They provide opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds to attend private schools, promoting academic excellence, inclusivity, and diversity. Scholarships can be merit-based or need-based, helping attract talented students and easing financial burdens for families.

SCHOLARSHIPS WE ACCEPT

At our school, we are proud to accept two types of scholarships: the AAA Scholarship and the Step Up Scholarship, to help make a high-quality education more affordable for all students.

AAA Scholarship

Eligibility: The AAA Private School Scholarship, also known as the AAA Scholarship Foundation, serves similar demographics to Step Up for Students, focusing on low-income students in Florida. However, it may have slightly different eligibility criteria based on household income and other factors.

Programs Available: The AAA Scholarship Foundation offers the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship for low-income families, similar to the FTC program offered by Step Up for Students. The foundation also provides scholarships for students with special needs and for those attending public schools deemed to have a history of low performance.

Funding: AAA Scholarships are funded through corporate tax credits and donations, similar to Step Up for Students.

Amount: The amount can vary but is generally comparable to the Step Up scholarships, covering tuition at eligible private schools.

Restrictions: Like Step Up for Students, these scholarships are only valid for use at participating private schools and have specific guidelines regarding how the funds can be used.

Step Up Scholarship

Eligibility: This scholarship is primarily available to Florida residents who meet specific financial and educational criteria. It targets students from lower-income families, those with special needs, and those who are attending public schools that have been identified as failing or in need of improvement.

Programs Available: Step Up for Students administers multiple scholarship programs, such as the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) for low-income families, the Gardiner Scholarship for students with special needs, and the Hope Scholarship for students who are victims of bullying or violence in public schools.

Funding: This scholarship is funded through tax credits from corporate donations to the Florida tax credit scholarship program, as well as state funds.

Amount: The amount of the scholarship varies based on the program and student needs but generally ranges from a few thousand dollars annually to cover tuition and fees at participating private schools.

Restrictions: Typically, the scholarship is available to students attending participating private schools and can only be used for tuition-related expenses.
